Our Mission in This Area

Rotary supports peace by training leaders to prevent and resolve conflict, and by bringing together people of diverse backgrounds to foster understanding. Our club advances this mission through dialogue programs, youth leadership initiatives, and partnerships with organizations committed to lasting peace.

Cluster 1A Christmas Party

Presidents and officers of Cluster 1A gathered in Vigan City for its Christmas Party 2025 organized by AG Ernanie Pasimio . Clubs present were RC Health Keepers with DS Mary Jane Noble , RC Ilocos Norte Central, RC Magsingal, RC Narvacan, RC Bangued and the host club, RC Vigan. President Benjie Buen welcomed all attendees to the said Christmas party. Cluster Secretary PP Steve Steve Figueras Tadique delivered his report of the Cluster's performance so far for the first half of this rotary year while DS Jane & PP Heidel Lapira talked about global and district grants and how the club's can avail of them. To add spice to the event, parlor games were presented and the most awaited exchange gift giving after a sumptuous lunch served by AG Nanie and his staff. Overall, it was not just a Christmas party, it was also a fellowship day and preparation for the midyear review on January 10, 2026.

On November 19, 2024, the Rotary Club of Metro San Fernando LU had the privilege of being inspired by Past President Mary Jane Noble from the Rotary Club of Health Keepers, who served as an RLI Faculty member. Her impactful presentation, "Leadership in Rotary," emphasized that every Rotarian is a leader, urging us all to embody selfless dedication in our service. It was a truly uplifting evening, where valuable insights were shared with both club members and esteemed guests attending the regular meeting.
